Blimey! This is a very Yunxi-heavy episode! And it's almost 30mins long!

Oh.. well, compared to the "atomic" ep109, this one somehow is missing something. After watching it, I can kinda understand the disappointment among the Chinese fans. Apparently, there was a leak (or so rumoured) about PW making Yunxi as the FL in the story out of the three ladies. I won't compare it with the novel because it's only rumour, probably released on purpose to hype up the show. Moreover, I'm actually Team Yunxi but in terms of chemistry with SH, I prefer Yuechan's second body.

Back to the hoo-ha in the Chinese fan circle, they were upset that SH was nerfed again to suit the romance-heavy narrative which is not the case in the novel. SH has always been a cultivation nerd and also quite a master strategist himself. For e.g. like in this fight with the War Clan King, SH was the one who went looking for him. There wasn't much of a suspense because SH caught him unprepared and ended him quite quickly.

I don't mind today's version but this springing back to life from a near-death state is a bit too cliched and has been used too often in every major fight. In that regards, I'm with the Chinese fans. It was a mistake to nerf SH's power. The rest is pretty close to the novel. She guessed it and he denied.

Anyway, I'm actually looking forward to the next episode where the "truth" will be revealed. Fingers crossed that they don't let me down!

I actually go back and watch ep109 from time to time. Like yeah... it's THAT GOOD! I don't read novels but I get plenty of excitement from anime already. Compared to 109, I definitely feel a difference. But it's still a good episode overall. 109 was the ultimate self-sacrifice, bonded with excellent outro song, it was hard not to feel it lol. But this episode's just SH protecting YX in his own way.

Yeah 109 was so good! That episode is on a superlative scale. It’s got all the ingredients to reach an atomic level. It’s epic, dramatic and tragic, all built on a big sacrifice theme!

chemistry bw Shi Hao and his 1st wife, I do not see it, she literally is the worse wife out of all of them if u ask me, although I respect YX as she was a great wife, she loved and was dedicated to him but so was Linger, I will always be team Linger she has always been his biggest cheerleader from day 1 and if she had as much time as YX did with him, she would have been a great wife too, I mean my girl died and came back as another person with just memories of him, love that transcends death, what more can u ask for?

I don’t know if you’ve read the novel but I understand where you’re coming from. I agree tht the love between SH and HL is the most touching. But in terms ofall the sacrifices the three girls put into their relationship with SH, YX is the one that was treated the worst and she didn’t deserve this from SH. From this perspective alone, I sided with YX because I think SH owes her a lot. Of course, if HL did not get kidnapped by the baddies, I’m sure she would have sacrificed just as much if not more for SH.

But the fact remains, SH left YX on their wedding night and disappeared for hundreds of years before returning to her was not something a man should do. At least not what a responsible and loving husband would do.

As for Qingyi, she has the most interactions and history with SH on his way to greatness. I love the times and the adventures that shared together. This is entirely independent from her selfish decision to leave him in the end. As I mentioned in my previous comment, she totally deserves to wallow in regrets for the rest of her life and I particularly enjoyed the scene where SH told her he had married YX. The selfish QY could not believe SH would marry another girl apart from her but it was too late for regrets.

Of course all these are just my personal opinions. I’m a fan of harem novel so whoever SH ends up with, it’s totally fine by me.

I guess we all have who we prefer, cos its not like YX was the only one he left after marrying to cultivate, he left Linger too or is it because it was made obvious he was reluctant to leave Linger, I mean his sentiment towards her is understandable, she is his 1st love after all. l respect YX very much, as a young lady myself I do not understanding how she was so cool with her husband longing after another woman while with her, even going as far as encouraging him to go find Linger. in my opinion shi hao was not the best husband to both of his wives (Yue does not count) as he was obsessed with cultivation, but we both know he always did his best for his loved ones, in the end it was YX cultivation level that stopped her from enjoying all he had to offer.

Did shi hao did not have any children on his 3 wives. I already forgot some of it. Can you help me refresh a little bit.

if you ask about the novel, then YX is his only wife where he has a child with. Tbh, all three married him in different period of times. YC or Qingyi (that’s the name of the second body) was the first where she married him in lower realm, then it was Huo Ling’er. She’s the only woman whom SH married on his own accord but he left her the next day. But it’s still better than YX because bloody hell, he left her on their wedding night! I won’t spoil too much but if you read only PW, then YX is the only official wife of SH where everyone knows while the other two, no one or very few ppl were present.

Apparently at the end of book 3 of the trilogy, SH resurrected all three and live with them happily ever after.

As for his new skill or ability, well, he’s OP enough, isn’t he?Until he enters that competition, he did not gain new skill but he did up his power level by triggering a lightning tribulation and tht raised his power to the peak of the venerable realm. Oh, he also ate that golden fruit and improved his magical immunity skill. All these happened after he was rescued from the Celestial Clan. Yes, those scumbags imprisoned and tortured him when they found out tht he’s SH and Huang. These two identities are enough to shake the upper realm because SH is the only person who has mastered the Kun Peng technique while Huang is known to have received the Lightning Emperor inheritance. Both are equally powerful in their own ways.

So like how long will he be tortured? And who saves him?
